About Us

Promoting Bowling

The United States Bowling Academy is an organization of professionals in the bowling industry with a common interest of promoting bowling. Our interests include bowling instruction, training coaches, train bowling centers, developing new bowlers, retaining bowlers and providing scholarship information to bowlers.

Our Mission

Our mission is to:

  • Provide Bowling Instruction
  • Provide Coach Training
  • Train Bowling Centers
  • Promote Bowling
  • Youth Scholarship & Junior Gold Tournaments
  • Educate Youth Bowlers and Parents about College Bowling and Scholarship Options

Our Commitment to Promoting Bowling

The bowling industry has many great promotional programs that have been developed at a national level including programs from the United States Bowling Congress (USBC), the Bowling Proprietors Association of America (BPAA) and Strike Ten Entertainment.

Our goal is to develop additional promotional programs for bowling centers and get into the trenches and teach bowling centers to implement and maximize these programs to increase bowling participation and enthusiasm for the game of bowling.

The grassroots of developing new bowlers starts with the youth program. The United States Bowling Academy is committed to developing and implementing programs for youth bowling. Along with developing these new bowlers, develop programs that retain new bowlers. Programs that are aimed at retaining bowlers must be age appropriate, fun and provide ownership in the program. Bowlers that have ownership in a program are much more likely to return. We must develop new leadership for our sport to survive.

We are committed to educating youth and parents about the opportunities youth bowling provides. High School bowling and College bowling is growing across the country. This growth is opening the opportunities for more bowlers to earn scholarships for bowling.

To meet this commitment, the United States Bowling Academy is continuously researching colleges across the country that offer college bowling programs. We will continue to update our site and develop programs that educate bowlers and parents on how to prepare for college and find the right college.
